| Research direction | Physiological ecology is the study of the relationships between an organism environment and its physiology. My interest in this area is mainly the comparative aspects of osmoregulation and respiration of intertidal organisms, especially euryhaline fishes and crabs. During the past few years of study, I also turn my attention to phylogeny and systematics as the basis for discussing the mophological and physiological adaptation for the organisms investigated. |
